Finalists Announced for the 2025 She Has a Deal (SHaD) Pitch Competition: Women Entrepreneurs Competing for $100,000 in Hotel Investment Equity

She Has a Deal (SHaD) has revealed the eight dynamic finalist teams set to compete in the 2025 SHaDPitch Competition, happening on May 1st at the Hilton McLean in McLean, Virginia. These women entrepreneurs, having already impressed in a tough preliminary round, are now just one pitch away from securing a combined $100,000 in equity investment to bring their hotel ownership dreams to life.

SHaDPitch, now in its sixth season, is setting the stage for an inspiring competition that empowers women to break into hotel ownership. The event features two tracks: the Early Careerist Track, aimed at those taking their first steps into the hotel investment world, and the Today’s Woman Track, focused on more seasoned professionals ready to make their mark in hospitality.

  • Chloe Rogers & Martyna Malolepszy (RM Investments) from San Diego State University

The stakes are high as these entrepreneurs will present their investment-ready hotel proposals to a panel of distinguished judges. Each track’s winner will walk away with $50,000 in equity investment to help fund their respective projects. For many of these women, this is the moment they’ve been working toward for years—an opportunity to get the financial backing and mentorship they need to turn their ideas into reality.

But it’s not just about the pitches. The event offers networking opportunities for attendees to connect with hotel owners, investors, and hospitality leaders. The competition will also feature SHaDTalks, where past SHaDPitch alumnae will provide valuable feedback and insights into the hotel investment process. Special segments like Where is She Now? and She Did It! will spotlight the inspiring journeys of past participants who have successfully launched their own hotel ventures, demonstrating the growing impact of women in hotel real estate.

As the competition heats up, the winners will be revealed at the Networking and Awards Reception, immediately following the final round. This celebration will give industry professionals the chance to share ideas, connect, and champion the future of women in hotel ownership.
